I was a vendor at a Scrapbooking Event this weekend and heard the best testimonial about Stampin' Up! markers! One of the scrapbookers was using markers from our big box of Many Marvelous Markers - that she ordered about 10 years ago! She finally has to replace the Basic Black, but otherwise they are still working great!
Each of our markers are dual-tipped. Because of this, you'll want to make sure and store them horizontally, so that the ink does not dry out on one end.
One technique you can do with markers is "omitting" a portion of the stamp. Use the side of the brush end of the marker and color over only the part you want to stamp.
You can also stamp an image and color it in with markers. You can decide whether the fine point tip or brush end is best for the size of the space.
You can use two different markers on the same stamp. I always use the brush end when coloring on the stamp.
You can purchase many of the Stampin' Write Markers individually for $3.50. They are also sold in Color Collections $28.95 for 10 in the Brights/Subtles/Reglas Collections or $22.95 for 8 in the Neutrals Collection. Or you can get the big daddy of them all - the Many Marvelous Markers - 38 colors in a sturdy case for $109.95 (That's a 17% savings over buying them individually.)
You'll notice there's even room in the case to store your In Color markers, too!
As the testimony I mentioned above shares, Stampin' Write Markers are worth the investment! Order yours today and start coloring!
