Watercolor Wishes Card Kit

Happy Monday! We enjoyed some beautiful weather here in Michigan this weekend and I spent much of my time outside. However, I did make some time to open this new kit that arrived in my Stampin' Up! order...The Watercolor Wishes Card Kit is AMAZING!!

I am so impressed by the gorgeous cards, the value of the kit and how easy it is to complete these cards!

Paper Pumpkin - Happy Thoughts - Alternate Card

Yesterday, I shared the June Paper Pumpkin kit with you.

This kit was so much fun! Even my ten year old daughter sat down to make some cards! She didn't ask for any help. She just sat down with the kit and the instructions and made these cards. I think they turned out great!

Today, I'm also going to share a different card I made using supplies that came in the kit. I used the envelope liner as a layer on my card and stamped the front with the flower image that comes in the June Paper Pumpkin Kit. The white strip of paper is the opposite side of the envelope liner. The little pattern piece under the white strip is from the sticker sheet.

Paper Pumpkin - Happy Thoughts

I'm not sure what I enjoy most about Paper Pumpkin......getting a fun box in the mail every month....having everything designed and pre-cut for me (usually I do the designing and cutting for my customers) or .....the end result - adorable projects!

If you're not familiar with Paper Pumpkin, it's a crafting creative escape that is delivered to your door monthly for only $19.95 plus tax. Everything you need is in the box, so grab it and take it with you camping this summer or work on the projects at your child's tennis lesson.

Each month is a different project that includes a photopolymer stamp set, ink spots, consumable supplies and instructions. This is the June 2015 kit....

The kit makes eight cards - four each of two designs. This kit included stampin' dimensionals and glue dots, but some of the pieces were stickers - super easy to use!

I also made an alternate card using the supplies in the kit. I'll share that soon!

"Sprinkles of Life" Stamps in the Mail

It's time for a new session of Stamps in the Mail! I've been doing this popular program for years because people love being able to complete the Quick & Creative cards at a time and place that's convenient for them.

This session runs July through September. All of the cards will be designed with the Sprinkles of Life stamp set. Watch this video where I explain more....

Coloring Timeless Elegance Designer Paper

This paper is GORGEOUS!!

The colors are neutral - Basic Black, Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla. The patterns are definitely elegant. Some patterns can be colored, which gives a totally different look to the paper and results in some very Quick & Creative cards!

What do you think? Isn't that fun?! This is my favorite....

Here it is up close.... I colored the roses with the Pink Pirouette marker. The ribbon is Sahara Sand Lace Trim and you also see a new Metal Rimmed Pearl.

You will definitely want to order some of this paper! I can't wait to see what YOU create with it!

Awesomely Artistic Swap

Happy Monday!

Today, I'm going to share a card with you that I received as a swap on the Stampin' Up! incentive trip to Hawaii this spring.

Look at the detail up close - gorgeous!

The card was made by Simone Bartrum with the new Awesomely Artistic stamp set.

I love this stamp set and the variety of images and textures it has. I don't own it yet, but it is definitely on my wish list! I will be ordering it soon and can't wait to stamp more Quick & Creative cards to share with you!

"You Can Make It" Project Ideas

Do you love when something sparks your creativity? Recently, I had a little creative block. I sat looking at my supplies and was coming up with nothing - at least nothing that I really liked. So, what spurs creativity for me? Looking at other people's creativity, of course!

A Patriotic Project

It's almost the 4th of July holiday weekend! As you celebrate this weekend, take a moment to remember and be grateful for all of the blessings we have in our country.
